Another piece falls to the ground, withered, shriveled, a shadow of what it used to be.
Slowly, the hole gets bigger and bigger, the empty darkness filling what used to be light and hopeful.
More comes rushing in as soon as the walls break and collapse under the darkness, bit by bit. The tension is too strong, the entry is getting bigger. The strongholds are breaking.
The empty void becomes colder, larger, forcing all warmth away from the body. Ridding of everything that used to be whole and perfect
Now inside, it is cold, dark and lonely.
The entire system is collapsing now, tired, filled with fatigue from trying to fight. Trying to hold on to whatever that is left of that brokenness. But watching it slowly slip away with no avail.
Looking down, struck by the shrunken dead broken pieces on the floor. It seems that it has found it's space, forever left there, forgotten.
A shadow of what it used to be.
